Special service for visitors to Dutch museums
Herzogenrath. For many years there has been a museum map for the whole of the Netherlands. Due to a change, the purchase of this card has become difficult.
"Where will we get our museum card for the Netherlands from in the future?" A question that some interested museum visitors from Eurode and neighboring communities are asking themselves. Due to a system change, the card, to which more than 400 Dutch museums throughout the Netherlands are connected, is only available on electronic request and no longer at the respective museum cash desks. With this change, it is also necessary for the applicant to have an address in the Netherlands, as German postcodes cannot be processed by the new system.
In Eurode, efforts were made to find a pragmatic solution in the short term in order to be able to continue to offer this great offer to the museum visitors.
A service has now been set up together with the Eurode mayors, Jos Som and Christoph von den Driesch, and the employees of the Eurode secretariat, Patricia Kruytzer and Hans Hoever. From now on, card applicants from the German side can note the Dutch postal address of the Eurode secretariat on their application: Name of the applicant, c/o Zweckverband Eurode, Eurode Park 1-10, 6461 KB Kerkrade.
At the same time, the applicants are asked to send a message about the application to the Eurode secretariat with their name, address and e-mail so that an assignment and information for collection can take place. For an annual fee of EUR 64.90 for adults and EUR 32.45 for children and young people, the Dutch museum card offers a very interesting spectrum.
